Open Meeting Minutes Date: August 27, 2025

Location: WMS Library

Attendance: Amanda Dunbar, Angela West, Cherie Piland, Joni Wellington, Jessica Miller, Tiffany Eskew, Mika Holman, Nicole Gross, Jillann Humphrey, Jenn Brown, Julie Wolter, Brittany Beseda, Rachael Sparacio, Sally Savas, Emma Ballard, Melanie Barmore, Jessica Johannesen, Amy Lydon, Danielle Barnsdale, Ms. Olsen, Paula Reyes, plus 3 attendees via Zoom link.

Teacher Proposal: Ms. Olsen

• WMS fall festival short play. Asking for help with cost of scripts, performance royalties, set/props, costumes/makeup, and program/marketing - Total of $2,335.00. Priority to do fall show would be scripts, performance royalties and programs/marketing - Total of $435.00.

• Actors are limited to theater students only right now, open to the idea of allowing non theater students act later. They will sell tickets and merchandise to help raise funds. To give boosters a list of set items needed to post on socials for donations.

• Board to review further and vote on

Executive Reports:

Welcome: Amanda Dunbar

• Introduction of all attendees

Secretary Report: Cherie Piland

• Approve Minutes from the previous meeting – board approved (9/9 vote).

Treasurer’s Report: Tiffany Eskew

• Review annual report – Current Balance: $39,662.93. Still need to cut check to WHS cheer - roughly around $21,000.00, still waiting on Joni for actual total. Boosters is to receive 3% of the total raised. Balance reduced to $17,993.59.

Committee Reports:

• Reviewed committees for the current year – some filled with a chairperson - chairperson still needed for others.

o Pickleball Night – Jenn Brown: Boosters is funding $1,500.00. Park and pro instructors are booked. Mixer style from 4-7pm on 9/27/2025. Adults only event. Tara is having culinary class do food. Bar and snacks for sales. Raffle baskets. Looking at business sponsorships $250, $500, and $1,000. Game signups for 50-70 people. Merchandise tables allowed for sales. Player cost is $40 early bird price, then price goes up to $50. $25 fee for observing only/WMS staff. Next committee meeting is 9/8/25 at 6pm at Barley and Bine.

o Dine and Donates – Danielle Barnsdale: Currently has three set up. To provide dates to boosters to check on date conflicts.

o Color Run – Cherie Piland

o Escripts – Nicole Gross

o Staff Appreciation – Danielle Barnsdale: Fiesta theme this year.

o Valentines Grams – Tiffany Eskew

o WHS Golf Tournament Hole – Julie Wolter: Date is April 17th , 2025.

o Website – chairperson needed.

o See’s Candy – chairperson needed.

o 8 th Grade Baskets/Teddy Awards – chairperson needed.

o WMS Swag – chairperson needed – new inventory added to KM website, also adding blankets and cushions to sell at WHS and WMS games.

o Movie Night – Cherie Piland: Had about 117 attendees – raised $766.12.

Other:

• Change War: Amanda

o Extended end date to 8/29/25. Amanda will be out front of the school colleting on 8/28/25, needing someone to collect on 8/29/25.

• Windsor Day Parade o See if leadership kids can hold Boosters banner when walking in parade. Possibly hand out candy or Boosters stickers.
